Recently, High-Voltage Union Concern, with active involvement of official representative of RosEnergoGrupp LLC, Belgorod, supplied KRPZ-10 kV at 110/10 kV substation "Nezhegol" of 80 MVA capacity. The customer of this project is Belgorodenergo JSC making part of IDGC OF THE CENTER JSC.
110/10 kV substation "Nezhegol" is situated near the Voznesenovka village, Schebekinskiy region, Belgorod oblast.
"Nezhegol" substation is build specially for the lysine sulphate producing plant with 35 000 tonne per year capacity. This plant will become the largest producer of feed additives for all animal species in the country. The experts estimate that this production will decrease the dependence of Russian consumers on import by 60% at initial stage, and launch the export in the future. The first products will be manufactured in 2014, and the full-capacity operation of the plant will be reached by 2015.
110/10 kV substation "Nezhegol" was built to ensure the trouble-free power supply of the plant.
The substation has two 40 MVA power transformers. The substation control unit is a modular enclosure combined with 10-kV indoor switchgear of High-Voltage Union Concern.
KRPZ-10 kV has an embedded 10-kV switchgear based on on the KU-10C, with BP vacuum circuit-breakers designed by High-Voltage Union specialists. Mechanical lifetime of circuit-breakers is 100 000 CO cycles. Electrical lifetime is up to 50 000 cycles at rated currents and up to 100 cycles at rated breaking currents.
KRPZ-10 kV produced by High-Voltage Union Concern have been supplied to the markets of Russia and CIS for many years. The operation of this equipment gets positive feed-back from customers and partners of the Company.
High-Voltage Union and RosEnergoGrupp would like to thank Belgorodenergo JSC and IDGC OF THE CENTER JSC for the cooperation and are looking forward for further collaboration.
