High-Voltage Union Concern presented its innovations at the exhibition “Electrical Networks of Russia - 2013”

On 3-6 December, High-Voltage Union Concern participated in the XVI International Specialized Exhibition «Electrical Networks of Russia - 2013» held in Moscow

The Exhibition was organized by Electric Networks CJSC and the Veterans Council of Energy under the auspices of the RF Ministry of Energy and the RF Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The Exhibition was attended by a record number of visitors – more than 20,000 persons. The Exhibition hosted 499 participating companies, including HV equipment manufacturers, scientific, design and operating organizations, expert power engineers from other industries from Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Great Britain, Germany, Israel, Spain, Italy, Canada, Kazakhstan, China, Korea, Poland, Serbia, Slovenia, USA and Ukraine.

This year, at the Exhibition High-Voltage Union officially unveiled an innovative vacuum circuit-breaker type BPC-110 rated for voltage of 110 kV, current of 3150 A and breaking current of 40 kA. The BPC-110 is the world’s first vacuum circuit-breaker with one break per phase.

Besides the BPC-110, at the stand of the Concern you could see a compact switchgear series KU-10S for indoor installation. This switchgear is designed for three-phase AC networks with voltage of 6 and 10 kV. One of the main advantages is its dimensions – the front width is only 650 mm.

Moreover, High-Voltage Union introduced a new mining switchgear type KU10S RN. The main feature of this equipment is that the design of the cubicle withdrawable unit allows to safely operate the circuit-breaker without opening the front door. The cubicle’s small dimensions and different options of cable terminals ensure compact arrangement of the switchgear at mining facilities.
