Indoor vacuum circuit-breakers series BP35 are designed for switching electrical circuits in three-phase alternating current networks of 50 (60) Hz frequency and 6 kV rated voltage in normal and emergency modes for ungrounded or partially grounded neutral systems. Withdrawable circuit-breakers series BP35 are designed for installation into complete switchgears, in particular cubicles series KU-35, where they are used as a base for building 35 kV indoor switchgears of transformer substations. The fixed-type version can be used in switchgears of other series.

Design
Circuit-breakers series BP35 consist of three poles with cast vacuum interrupters mounted on the circuit-breaker frame. The circuit-breaker electromagnetic drive fixing circuit-breakers in C and O positions on magnetic latches is housed in the circuit-breaker frame. The core of the electromagnetic drive is connected with the circuit-breaker shaft via connecting links. The circuit-breaker shaft is connected via insulating tie-rods with vacuum interrupters and when turning, it controls circuit-breaker position contacts for external auxiliary circuits.
